Garnet 
In ancient times, Garnet was cherished by warriors as it was said to offer protection in battle and enhance their fighting prowess. They often embedded Garnet or Amber into the end of the handle of their swords; setting the intention to allow its powers to lead them to victory. It was also thought to protect against negative energy or ward off evil.
